Getting the godaddy authorization code is a bit complex as godday system is naturally complex and slow to manage it. So you want to transfer your domain to other registrar and you need the authorization code of your domain name. Just follow this procedure. Hope this will help.

• go to godaddy.com.
• login there by using your user name and password.
• Then from the left go to the My Products –> Domain Manager
• Now you can see all of your domains in go daddy. Look beside the domain of domain.com, you will see a yellow icon of a lock. Click on it. You will see a popup and an check box ticked under Lock Domains. Uncheck it and click the OK button it will unlock the domain.
• No from the Domain Manager page click one the domain “domain.com”
• here you will see all the domain related info.
• In that page under domain info you will see Autorization Code, and beside this text you will see a link namely “Send by email”. If you click this link system will send a authorization code to the admin email address of that domain name.
• If administration email is not set for that domain below this page you will see all the contact info of this domain. Edit the Administrative info with your email address and then update it and after that click the authorization codes “Send by email” link.
